     Sarah Macleod was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Norman MacLeod of MacLeod, 23rd Chief and Sarah Stackhouse.2,3 She married Robert Pringle of Stichill, younger, son of Sir James Pringle of Stichill, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Macleod, on 22 April 1806.1 She died in June 1806.1
      From 22 April 1806, her married name became Pringle.1

     James Pringle of Stichill, younger was baptised on 16 March 1810 at Stitchel, Roxburghshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt. and Emilia Anne Macleod.3 He died on 21 August 1865 at age 55, unmarried.1

     Norman Pringle was baptised on 8 June 1815 at Stitchel, Roxburghshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Sir John Pringle of Stichill, 5th Bt. and Emilia Anne Macleod.3 He died circa 1830, drowned in the Thames, while still a cadet at Woolwich.4
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Woolwich, Kent, England.1
