     William Thomas Moran Gilbert was the son of William Reilley Starkie Gilbert.2 He married Mary Agatha Sykes, daughter of Francis William Sykes and Beatrice Agnes Webb, on 21 October 1944.1 He died in 1970.1
     He was with the Colonial Med Service.1 He was Assistant Director of Medical Services at GhanaG.1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, Ireland (L.R.C.P.I.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (L.R.C.S.I.)1

     Lt.-Col. William Sykes was born on 27 September 1867.1 He was the son of Reverend John Heath Sykes and Frances Amelia Nind.2 He married Eleanor Mary Naylor, daughter of Captain Henry Naylor, on 14 January 1896.1 He died on 3 March 1950 at age 82.1
     He was Riding Master of the 3rd Dragoon Guards between 1895 and 1912.1 He was Equitation Officer between 1912 and 1921 at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Brigadier John Henry Sykes was born on 15 October 1896.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Sykes and Eleanor Mary Naylor.2 He married, firstly, Leila Flowerdew Macphee, daughter of D. S. Macphee, on 30 January 1919.1 He married, secondly, Florence Kathleen Turner, daughter of William Turner, in 1971.1 He died on 10 April 1975 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Christ's Hospital, London, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Palestine Campaign.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1930 and 1931, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Second World War, in Egypt, North Africa and North-West Europe, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Indian Army.1
