     Lt.-Col. Louis Sydney Henshall was the son of Louis Henshall.2 He married Helen Flora Ewart, daughter of George Herbert Ewart and Alice Flora Hamilton, on 3 November 1920.1 He died in 1957.2
     He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the South Lancashire Regiment.1 He lived at Stockton Heath, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

     Frederick William Ewart was born on 14 October 1858.1 He was the son of Sir William Ewart, 1st Bt. and Isabella Kelso Mathewson.2 He married Mary Anne Elizabeth Valentine, daughter of Thomas Valentine, on 14 June 1883.1 He died on 7 March 1934 at age 75.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

     Mary Anne Elizabeth Valentine was the daughter of Thomas Valentine.2 She married Frederick William Ewart, son of Sir William Ewart, 1st Bt. and Isabella Kelso Mathewson, on 14 June 1883.1 She died on 31 December 1922.1
     From 14 June 1883, her married name became Ewart.

Major Gerald Valentine Ewart1

     Major Gerald Valentine Ewart was born on 8 April 1884.1 He was the son of Frederick William Ewart and Mary Anne Elizabeth Valentine.2 He married Annie Ruth Collins, daughter of Reverend T. R. S. Collins, on 6 September 1911.1 He died on 20 April 1936 at age 52.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1
