     John Burdon Sanderson Haldane was born on 5 November 1892.¹ He was the son of John Scott Haldane and Louisa Kathleen Trotter.² He married, firstly, Charlotte Franken, daughter of Joseph Franken, on 11 May 1926.¹ He and Charlotte Franken were divorced in 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Dr. Helen Spurway in 1946.¹ He died on 1 December 1964 at age 72, without issue.¹

     Charlotte Franken was the daughter of Joseph Franken.² She married John Burdon Sanderson Haldane, son of John Scott Haldane and Louisa Kathleen Trotter, on 11 May 1926.¹ She and John Burdon Sanderson Haldane were divorced in 1945.¹ She died on 16 March 1969.¹
     From 11 May 1926, her married name became Haldane.

     Lieutenant Richard Spread was the son of John Spread and Anstace Earbery.¹ He died in 1794 at Bergen-op-Zoom, Brabant, The Netherlands.¹
     Lieutenant Richard Spread gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 87th Foot.¹

     Lieutenant Robert Patrick Haldane was born on 21 July 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir William Stowell Haldane and Edith Nelson.² He died on 13 June 1915 at age 21 at France, from wounds received in action near Festubert.¹
