Major Archibald Primrose Liston Foulis was born on 28 August 1874.1 He was the son of Sir James Liston Foulis, 9th Bt. and Sarah Helen Ochterlony.1 He married Agnèse Eudora Wingate, daughter of Captain George M. Wingate, on 31 October 1907.1 He died on 30 November 1917 at age 43, killed in action.1
