     Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett was born on 22 May 1834.1 He was the son of Reverend Philip Hewett and Anne Duff.2 He married Emily Janet Barry, daughter of Reverend C. U. Barry, on 20 May 1857.1 He died on 29 November 1900 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 20th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 1st West Yorkshire Militia.1 He also had four daughters, who all died unmarried.1

     Emily Janet Barry was the daughter of Reverend C. U. Barry.2 She married Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett, son of Reverend Philip Hewett and Anne Duff, on 20 May 1857.1 She died in 1912.1
     From 20 May 1857, her married name became Hewett.

Captain Paul Hewett1

     Captain Paul Hewett was born on 15 April 1858.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip George Hewett and Emily Janet Barry.2 He died on 13 March 1934 at age 75.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1

Godfrey Hewett1

James Alastair Liston Foulis was born on 31 July 1908.1 He was the son of Major Archibald Primrose Liston Foulis and Agnàse Eudora Wingate.1 He married Kathleen de la Hogue Moran, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Moran and Countess Olga de la Hogue, on 6 March 1934.1 He died on 30 April 1942 at age 33, killed on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Kathleen de la Hogue Moran was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Moran and Countess Olga de la Hogue.1,3 She married Lt.-Col. James Alastair Liston Foulis, son of Major Archibald Primrose Liston Foulis and Agnàse Eudora Wingate, on 6 March 1934.1 She died on 5 January 1991.3
     From 6 March 1934, her married name became Liston Foulis.1 She lived in 1970 at Westhorpe, Holford Road, Guildford, Surrey, EnglandG.1

     Louisa Majendie was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry William Majendie and Anne Routledge.2 She married Colonel Sir George Henry Hewett, 2nd Bt., son of General Sir George Hewett, 1st Bt. and Julia Johnson, on 26 July 1816.1 She died on 25 September 1880.1
     From 26 July 1816, her married name became Hewett.
