     Edward Strangways Neave was born on 11 November 1857.¹ He was the son of Sheffield Neave and Mary Henrica Morier.² He married Evelyn Jane Vansittart, daughter of Colonel Robert Vansittart, on 4 November 1882.¹ He died on 25 January 1935 at age 77.¹

     Evelyn Jane Vansittart was the daughter of Colonel Robert Vansittart.² She married Edward Strangways Neave, son of Sheffield Neave and Mary Henrica Morier, on 4 November 1882.¹ She died on 23 August 1934.¹
     From 4 November 1882, her married name became Neave.

     Edward Arthur Neave was with the Natal Police and South African Mounted Riflemen.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the Native Rebellion in 1906.¹ He was decorated with the award of 1914 Star.¹ He fought in the First World War, in South-West Africa.¹

     Digby Seymour Neave was born on 7 April 1921.¹ He was the son of Edward Arthur Neave and Evelyn Margaret Lamb.² He married Chrystel Outzen-Boisen, daughter of Professor Poul Outzen-Boisen, on 28 December 1948.¹ He died on 31 March 2006 at age 84.³
     Digby Seymour Neave fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.).¹ He was a senior partner of Neave, Tinworth & Nuan, chartered quantity surveyors.¹

     Gerald Vansittart Neave was born on 2 October 1884.¹ He was the son of Edward Strangways Neave and Evelyn Jane Vansittart.² He died on 16 August 1917 at age 32, killed in action.¹
     Gerald Vansittart Neave fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in 1914 in the service of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹
