     Edward Strangways Neave was born on 11 November 1857.1 He was the son of Sheffield Neave and Mary Henrica Morier.2 He married Evelyn Jane Vansittart, daughter of Colonel Robert Vansittart and Elizabeth Harriet Fleming, on 4 November 1882.1 He died on 25 January 1935 at age 77.1

     Colonel Robert Vansittart was born on 24 January 1811.2 He was the son of Arthur Vansittart and Hon. Caroline Eden.2 He married Elizabeth Harriet Fleming, daughter of J. W. Fleming, on 4 November 1845.2 He died on 2 May 1872 at age 61.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He lived at Driffield, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He lived at Chuffs, Berkshire, EnglandG.3

     Evelyn Jane Vansittart was the daughter of Colonel Robert Vansittart and Elizabeth Harriet Fleming.2,3 She married Edward Strangways Neave, son of Sheffield Neave and Mary Henrica Morier, on 4 November 1882.1 She died on 23 August 1934.1
     From 4 November 1882, her married name became Neave.

     He was with the Natal Police and South African Mounted Riflemen.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the Native Rebellion in 1906.1 He fought in the First World War, in South-West Africa.1 He was awarded the 1914 Star.1

     Digby Seymour Neave was born on 7 April 1921.1 He was the son of Edward Arthur Neave and Evelyn Margaret Lamb.2 He married Chrystel Outzen-Boisen, daughter of Professor Poul Outzen-Boisen, on 28 December 1948.1 He died on 31 March 2006 at age 84.3
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He was a senior partner of Neave, Tinworth & Nuan, chartered quantity surveyors.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)1

     From 28 December 1948, her married name became Neave. She was an author.1

     Gerald Vansittart Neave was born on 2 October 1884.1 He was the son of Edward Strangways Neave and Evelyn Jane Vansittart.2 He died on 16 August 1917 at age 32, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in 1914 in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1
