     Sir Malby Richard Henry Crofton, 4th Bt. was born on 18 September 1881.1 He was the son of Sir Malby Crofton, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Margaret Verschoyle.1 He married Katharine Beatrix Pollard, daughter of George Sturges Pollard, on 17 September 1918.1 He died on 21 January 1962 at age 80.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice, and was wounded four times.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916 and bar (1917.)1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Crofton, of Longford House, co. Sligo [U.K., 1838] on 17 September 1926.1

Sir John Archdale Palmer, 7th Bt.1

     Sir John Archdale Palmer, 7th Bt. was born on 10 November 1894.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Archdale Palmer, 6th Bt. and Lillian Somerset.2 He married Kathleen Smith, daughter of Herbert Smith, on 20 September 1922.1 He died on 24 June 1963 at age 68.1
     He was educated at Reading SchoolG.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Hudson, of Wanlip Hall, co. Leicester [G.B., 1791] on 17 November 1933.1 He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Gloucestershire in 1956.1

     Edward Ducarel Palmer was born in 1897.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Archdale Palmer, 6th Bt. and Lillian Somerset.2 He died on 30 October 1917, killed in action.1

     Philip Somerset Palmer was born on 2 April 1899.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Archdale Palmer, 6th Bt. and Lillian Somerset.2 He married Elizabeth Alyson Blanche Burdon on 8 June 1939.1 He died on 29 August 1984 at age 85, without issue.1
     He lived at The Creel, Harbottle, Northumberland, EnglandG.1

     Katharine Beatrix Pollard was the daughter of George Sturges Pollard.1 She married Sir Malby Richard Henry Crofton, 4th Bt., son of Sir Malby Crofton, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Margaret Verschoyle, on 17 September 1918.1 She died on 28 February 1961.1
     From 17 September 1918, her married name became Crofton.1
