Sir Allen Leslie Pound, 3rd Bt. was born on 31 October 1888.1 He was the son of Sir John Lulham Pound, 2nd Bt. and Julia Isabella Allen.2 He married, firstly, Margery Hayworth, daughter of Stephen G. Hayworth, on 15 February 1916.1 He and Margery Hayworth were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Leonie May Mozin, daughter of Leon Mozin, on 21 November 1925.1 He died on 15 November 1952 at age 64.1
He was educated at Merchant Taylors' School, London, England.1 He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).1 He was a practising solicitor in 1911.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1915 in the service of the Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918.1 He was sole member of the law firm of Pound and Pound at Egham, Surrey, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Pound, of Stanmore, Middlesex [U.K., 1905] on 7 September 1937.1
