     Adelaide Clementina Hart Davis was the daughter of Richard Vaughan Davis.1 She married Reverend Henry Dyke Acland, son of Reverend Peter Leopold Dyke Acland and Julia Barker, on 22 January 1878.1 She died on 20 June 1941.1
      Her married name became Acland.

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.2

     Henry Dyke Acland was born on 21 September 1867.1 He was the son of John Barton Arundell Acland and Emily Weddell Harper.1 He married Elizabeth Grace Watson, daughter of Hon. James Watson, on 25 April 1906.1 He died on 12 January 1943 at age 75.1
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He was a member of the Senate of the New Zealand University.1 He held the office of Danish Consul to Christchurch in 1926.1 He was decorated with the award of the Order of Dannebrog of Denmark.1
