     Sir Henry Jacob Preston, 3rd Bt. was born on 15 September 1851.1 He was the son of Sir Jacob Henry Preston, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Prescott.2 He married Mary Hope Clutterbuck, daughter of Edmund Lewis Clutterbuck, on 16 December 1885.1 He died on 9 January 1897 at age 45.1
     Sir Henry Jacob Preston, 3rd Bt. gained the rank of Captain in the service of the East Division, Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Preston, of Beeston St. Lawrence, Norfolk [U.K., 1815] on 19 October 1891.1

     From 16 December 1885, her married name became Preston.

     Sir Jacob Preston, 4th Bt. was born on 6 May 1887.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Jacob Preston, 3rd Bt. and Mary Hope Clutterbuck.2 He died on 12 February 1918 at age 30, unmarried.1

     Sir Edward Hulton Preston, 5th Bt. was born on 17 September 1888.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Jacob Preston, 3rd Bt. and Mary Hope Clutterbuck.2 He married Margaret Bond-Cabbell, daughter of Benjamin Bond-Cabbell, in September 1920.1 He died on 7 December 1963 at age 75.1
     Sir Edward Hulton Preston, 5th Bt. was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Brevet-Major in 1918 in the service of the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1918.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Preston, of Beeston St. Lawrence, Norfolk [U.K., 1815] on 12 February 1918.1 He held the office of Member of the Norfolk County Council.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1920.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk in 1950.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1956.1
