     Sir John Verney, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 September 1913.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Ralph Verney, 1st Bt. and Janette Cheveria Hamilton Walker.2 He married Jeanie Lucinda Musgrave, daughter of Major Herbert Musgrave, on 29 March 1939.1 He died on 2 February 1993 at age 79.1
