     Lady Catherine Maria Hastings was baptised on 19 April 1692.2 She was the daughter of Theophilus Hastings, 7th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Frances Fowler.1 She married Reverend Granville Wheler, son of Sir George Wheler, on 27 December 1724 at Ledstone, Yorkshire, England.1,2 She died on 22 December 1739 at age 47 at Otterdon Place, Kent, England.2
      From 27 December 1724, her married name became Wheler.1
