     Emily Sarah Beresford was the daughter of Reverend John Isaac Beresford and Sophia White.2 She married Very Rev. John Maunsell Massy-Beresford, son of Hon. John Massy and Maria Maunsell, on 6 May 1851.1 She died on 29 July 1893.1
     From 6 May 1851, her married name became Massy. From 1871, her married name became Massy-Beresford.3 She lived at Macbie Hill, Peebles-shire, Scotland.
