     He was a practising Gray's Inn, Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the office of High Sheriff for the City of Limerick in 1848.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1851.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Fanstown, Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland.1
