     Reverend Richard Seymour was born on 23 July 1877.1 He was the son of Venerable Albert Eden Seymour and Hester Emily Fortescue.2 He married Annie Louisa Mary Arthur, daughter of William Creswell Ernest Arthur.1 He died in 1959.1
     Reverend Richard Seymour graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1900 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the Vicar between 1910 and 1919 at Otterton, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, England.1 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1915 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1919 and 1937 at Coombe Martin, England.1 He was the Vicar between 1937 and 1946 at Chittlehampton, Devon, England.1

     Commander John Richard Arthur Seymour was born on 14 May 1905.1 He was the son of Reverend Richard Seymour and Annie Louisa Mary Arthur.2 He married Helen Augusta Luxmoore-Ball, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Edmund Coryndon Luxmoore-Ball, on 1 October 1941.1 He died on 19 September 1957 at age 52.1
     Commander John Richard Arthur Seymour gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1954.1
