     Vice-Admiral Hon. George Fowler Hastings was born on 28 November 1814.1 He was the son of Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon and Frances Cobbe.2,1 He married Mathilde Alice Hitchcock, daughter of W. H. Hitchcock, on 14 September 1864.1 He died on 21 March 1876 at age 61.1
     Vice-Admiral Hon. George Fowler Hastings was commander of the Pacific and the Nore.1 He was decorated with the award of Knight, Order of the Medjidie.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     Hans Francis Hastings was born on 23 June 1865.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hon. George Fowler Hastings and Mathilde Alice Hitchcock.2 He married Edyth Mary Spratt, daughter of George O. Spratt, on 19 June 1900.1 He died on 2 March 1933 at age 67.1
     Hans Francis Hastings was decorated with the award of Order of the Redeemer of Greece.1 He was Consul to the Cyclades Islands in 1914.1
