     Edith Cunningham Boothby was born on 26 January 1867 at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of Colonel Robert Tod Boothby and Madeline Condie.1 She married Walter Cunliffe, 1st Baron Cunliffe, son of Roger Cuncliffe and Ann Edge, on 8 July 1896.1 She died on 22 November 1965 at age 98.1
      From 8 July 1896, her married name became Cunliffe.1 As a result of her marriage, Edith Cunningham Boothby was styled as Baroness Cunliffe on 14 December 1914.

      From before 1952, her married name became Robinson.1 As a result of her marriage, Kathleen Elsie Pope was styled as Baroness Cunliffe on 24 December 1952. From 24 December 1952, her married name became Cunliffe.1
