     William Coventry de la Poer Beresford was born on 2 June 1887. He was the son of Henry Tristram de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Margaret Coventry. He married Jessie Rowling, daughter of Edgar Lindeman Rowling, on 31 March 1921. He died on 10 July 1938 at age 51.

     Jessie Rowling was the daughter of Edgar Lindeman Rowling. She married William Coventry de la Poer Beresford, son of Henry Tristram de la Poer Beresford and Louisa Margaret Coventry, on 31 March 1921. She died on 30 September 1930, killed in a car accident.
     Her married name became Beresford.
