     Hester Beatrice Bury was the daughter of Reverend Robert Bury and Letitia Barry.1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Francis Fox, son of Reverend John James Fox, in 1861.2 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford, son of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet, on 16 February 1865.1 She died on 9 May 1913.1
     From 1861, her married name became Fox.1 Her married name became Beresford.
