     Robert Leigh was born in 1307.2 He was the son of Sir John de Leigh and Elena de Baguley.3 He married, secondly, Maud de Norley, daughter of Adam de Norley.1 He married, firstly, Sybil de Hanford, daughter of Sir Henry de Hanford, before 1330.1 He died in 1369.2
     He lived at Adlington, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was Justice in Eyre for Cheshire.2

     Sir Piers Leigh was the son of Robert Leigh and Maud de Norley.2 He married Cecily Bradshaw.3 He married Margaret d'Anyers, daughter of Sir Thomas d'Anyers, in 1388.1,3 He died in 1399 at Chester, Cheshire, EnglandG, executed as a supporter of the deposed Ling Richard II.1
     He lived at Lymm, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Crécy in 1346, where he bore the Black Prince's standard and captured the Count de Tancarville.1 His marriage to Margaret d'Anyers was annulled.3 He was appointed Knight in 1397.3

     Margaret d'Anyers was the daughter of Sir Thomas d'Anyers.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Savage.1 She married Sir John Radclyffe.2 She married, secondly, Sir Piers Leigh, son of Robert Leigh and Maud de Norley, in 1388.1,2 She died in 1428.2
     Her married name became Radclyffe.2 Her married name became Savage.1 Her married name became Leigh. Her marriage to Sir Piers Leigh was annulled.2

     His wife brought him the Manor of Ridge.1 He held the office of Escheator of Cheshire between 1433 and 1440.3
