He married, firstly, Ann Christina Margo Trevor, daughter of Sidney Walter Trevor, on 21 October 1937. He married, secondly, Diana Turner-Cain, daughter of W/Cdr. G. Turner-Cain, on 12 September 1945. He died in 1992.2
