     Sarah Russell was baptised on 19 September 1639. She was the daughter of Sir Francis Russell, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wheatley.2,3 She married, firstly, Sir John Reynolds before 1657.1 She married, secondly, Henry O'Brien, 6th Earl of Thomond, son of Barnabas O'Brien, 5th Earl of Thomond and Anne Fermor, in 1660.1 She died in 1715 at Chippenham, EnglandG. She was buried on 16 November 1715.
     From before 1660, her married name became Reynolds.1 After her marriage, Sarah Russell was styled as Countess of Thomond in 1660. From 1660, her married name became O'Brien.

     Sir Francis Russell, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Russell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Gerard. He married Catherine Wheatley, daughter of John Wheatley and Elizabeth Smallpage, on 19 September 1631.1
     He lived at Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Russell, of Chippenham.
