Colwyn Jestyn John Philipps, 3rd Viscount St. Davids was born on 30 January 1939. He was the son of Jestyn Reginald Austin Plantagenet Philipps, 2nd Viscount St. Davids and Doreen Guinness Jowett. He married Augusta Victoria Correa Larrain in 1965. He died on 26 April 2009 at age 70.
