     Major Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Rawdon-Hastings was born on 21 October 1856.1 He was the son of Charles Frederick Abney-Hastings, 1st Baron Donington and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings, 10th Countess of Loudoun.1 He married Lady Maud Grimston, daughter of James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam and Elizabeth Joanna Weyland, on 20 December 1881.1 He died on 19 October 1907 at age 50.1
     He was given the name of Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Abney-Hastings at birth.1 On 1887 Major Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Rawdon-Hastings title's name changed to Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Rawdon-Hastings by Royal Licence.1

She was the daughter of James Walter Grimston, 2nd Earl of Verulam and Elizabeth Joanna Weyland.1 She married Major Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Rawdon-Hastings, son of Charles Frederick Abney-Hastings, 1st Baron Donington and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings, 10th Countess of Loudoun, on 20 December 1881.1 She died on 3 September 1929.1
      Her married name became Rawdon-Hastings.

     John Wynford Philipps, 1st Viscount St. Davids was born on 30 May 1860 at Warminster, Wiltshire, England. He was the son of Reverend Sir James Erasmus Philipps, 12th Bt. and Hon. Mary Margaret Best. He married, firstly, Nora Gerstenberg on 14 February 1888. He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Frances Abney-Hastings, daughter of Major Paulyn Francis Cuthbert Rawdon-Hastings and Lady Maud Grimston, on 27 April 1916.1 He died on 28 March 1938 at age 77.

(Lib) Mid-Lanarks 1888–94 and Pembs 1898–1908, chm: Lib Pty Fund, Costa Rica Rlwy Co, Buenos Ayres & Pacific Rlwy 1900, Unemployment Grants Ctee 1920–32 in 1886.2 On 6 July 1908 as also earlier BARON ST DAVIDS.2 In 1911 pres: Organisation for Employment of Retired Offrs, Pembs TAA.2 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1914.2 On 17 June 1918 so created.2 He was declared by House of Lds resolution coheir to Baronies of Botreaux, Hastings (of Hastings), Hungerford, Moleyns, Stanley and Strange (of Knokyn) on 17 December 1920.2 On 23 February 1921 succeeded her uncle as Baroness Hungerford, Baroness Moleyns and Baroness Strange (of Knokyn) in her own right on termination of the abeyance in those titles.2 He was Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1922.2

He married, secondly, Elisabeth Joyce Woolf, daughter of Dr. E. Alec Woolf, on 15 October 1954. He and Elisabeth Joyce Woolf were divorced in 1959.
