     Hon. Hugh Oliver Northcote was born on 13 November 1854.1 He was the son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer.2 He married Edith Livingston Fish, daughter of Hon. Hamilton Fish, on 6 June 1883.1 He died on 30 March 1900 at age 45.1

     From 6 June 1883, her married name became Northcote.
