Cecilia Frances Farrer1

     Cecilia Frances Farrer was the daughter of Thomas Farrer.1 She married Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh, son of Henry Stafford Northcote and Agnes Mary Cockburn, on 5 August 1843.1 She died on 17 January 1910.1
     She was appointed Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)1 From 5 August 1843, her married name became Northcote. After her marriage, Cecilia Frances Farrer was styled as Countess of Iddesleigh on 3 July 1885.

Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh1

     Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh was born on 7 August 1845.1 He was the son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer.2 He married Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson, daughter of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Croft, on 23 September 1868.1 He died on 26 May 1927 at age 81, without surviving male issue.1
     He was Commissioner, deputy-chairman and chairman of the Board of Inland Revenue between 1877 and 1892.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1887.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Saint Cyres of Newton Saint Cyres, co. Devon [U.K., 1885] on 12 January 1887.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh [U.K., 1885] on 12 January 1887.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Northcote, of Hayne, co. Devon [E., 1641] on 12 January 1887.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.1

     Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson was the daughter of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Croft.2 She married Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh, son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer, on 23 September 1868.1 She died on 17 April 1928.1
     From 23 September 1868, her married name became Northcote. After her marriage, Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson was styled as Countess of Iddesleigh on 12 January 1887.

Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres1

     Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres was born on 29 August 1869.1 He was the son of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson.2 He married Dorothy Morrison, daughter of Alfred Morrison and Mabel Chermside, on 9 July 1912.1 He died on 2 February 1926 at age 56, without issue.1
     He was styled as Viscount Saint Cyres between 1887 and 1927.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1895 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Secretary and Counsellor with the Diplomatic Service.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) in 1914.1 He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)1

Alfred Morrison1

     Alfred Morrison was born on 28 April 1821.2 He was the son of James Morrison and Mary Anne Todd.2 He married Mabel Chermside, daughter of Reverend R. S. C. Chermside, on 12 April 1866.2 He died on 22 December 1897 at age 76.2
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1857.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Wiltshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.2 He lived at Fonthill House, Hindon, Wiltshire, England.2

     Dorothy Morrison was the daughter of Alfred Morrison and Mabel Chermside.2 She married Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres, son of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson, on 9 July 1912.1 She died on 20 September 1936, without issue.2
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From 9 July 1912, her married name became Northcote.

     From 6 January 1914, her married name became Bruce.
