     John Northcote is the son of Sir John Northcote, 1st Bt. and Grace Halswell.¹ He married Catherine Foljambe.¹

     Cecilia Frances Farrer was the daughter of Thomas Farrer.¹ She married Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh, son of Henry Stafford Northcote and Agnes Mary Cockburn, on 5 August 1843.¹ She died on 17 January 1910.¹
     Cecilia Frances Farrer was invested as a Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.).¹ From 5 August 1843, her married name became Northcote. As a result of her marriage, Cecilia Frances Farrer was styled as Countess of Iddesleigh on 3 July 1885.

     Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh was born on 7 August 1845.¹ He was the son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer.² He married Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson, daughter of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt., on 23 September 1868.¹ He died on 26 May 1927 at age 81, without surviving male issue.¹
     Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh was Commissioner, deputy-chairman and chairman of the Board of Inland Revenue between 1877 and 1892.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1887.¹ He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Northcote, of Hayne, co. Devon [E., 1641] on 12 January 1887.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh [U.K., 1885] on 12 January 1887.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Saint Cyres of Newton Saint Cyres, co. Devon [U.K., 1885] on 12 January 1887.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹

     
     Sir Henry Simpson Lunn graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).¹

     Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson was the daughter of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt.² She married Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh, son of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer, on 23 September 1868.¹ She died on 17 April 1928.¹
     From 23 September 1868, her married name became Northcote. As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson was styled as Countess of Iddesleigh on 12 January 1887.

     Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres was born on 29 August 1869.¹ He was the son of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson.² He married Dorothy Morrison, daughter of Alfred Morrison, on 9 July 1912.¹ He died on 2 February 1926 at age 56, without issue.¹
     Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres was styled as Viscount Saint Cyres between 1887 and 1927.¹ He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1895 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was Secretary and Counsellor with the Diplomatic Service.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) in 1914.¹ He was invested as a Knight of Justice, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.).¹

     Dorothy Morrison was the daughter of Alfred Morrison.² She married Stafford Harry Northcote, Viscount Saint Cyres, son of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson, on 9 July 1912.¹ She died on 20 September 1936.¹
     Dorothy Morrison was invested as a Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).¹ From 9 July 1912, her married name became Northcote.

     Lady Rosalind Lucy Northcote was the daughter of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson.² She died on 31 December 1950, unmarried.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Mabel Northcote was the daughter of Walter Stafford Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh and Elizabeth Lucy Meysey-Thompson.² She married Hon. Robert Robert Randolph Bruce, son of Reverend Charles Bruce, on 6 January 1914.¹ She died on 27 September 1915.¹
     From 6 January 1914, her married name became Bruce.
