Robert South Thurlow Cunynghame was born on 27 March 1807 at Milncraig, Ayrshire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow.3 He died on 13 April 1829 at age 22 at Bruges, Belgium, unmarried.1,2

Sir Francis Thurlow Cunynghame of Milncraig, 8th Bt. was born on 11 August 1808.2 He was the son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow.3 He married Hannah Caroline Eyrn, daughter of William Robertson Eyrn, on 3 August 1830.2 He died on 27 October 1877 at age 69.2
He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Cunynghame, of Milncraig, co. Ayr [N.S., 1702] on 24 January 1877.1

General Sir Arthur Augustus Thurlow Cunynghame was born on 12 August 1812 at Oakley, Hampshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow.3 He married Hon. Frances Elizabeth Hardinge, daughter of Field Marshal Henry Hardinge, 1st Viscount Hardinge of Lahore and Kings Newton and Lady Emily Jane Stewart, on 13 September 1845.1 He died on 10 March 1884 at age 71.1
