     Reginald Ruggles Gates graduated from McGill University, Montréal, Quebec, Canada, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).1 His marriage to Dr. Marie Carmichael Stopes was annulled in 1914.1 He wrote the book Heredity and Eugenics, published 1923.1
