     James Lumsden was born in 1654.1 He was the son of Robert Lumsden, 7th of Cushnie and Agnes Leith.2 He married unknown Chalmers, daughter of unknown Chalmers of Balnacraig.1 He died in 1714.1
     James Lumsden purchased Corrachree in 1703 from John Lumsden.1 He lived at Corrachree, Scotland.1 He had two sons and several daughters.1
