     Alexander Lumsden is the son of William Lumsden and Jean Gordon.2 He married Isobel Seton, daughter of Reverend unknown Seton.1
     He had five younger sons and three daughters.1 He lived at Kintore, Scotland.1 Tacksman of Boghead.1

     Harry Lumsden was the son of William Lumsden and Rachel Lumsden.2
     He acquired a fortune in the West Indies.1 He purchased the estates of Clova and Auchindoir to John Lumsden of Cushnie in 1782.1

     Harriet Christian Leith-Hay was the daughter of General Alexander Leith-Hay and Mary Forbes.2 She married Sir Harry Niven Lumsden, 1st Bt., son of unknown Lumsden.1 She died in 1820, without issue.3
     Her married name became Lumsden.1
