     Maria Jane Young was born on 5 February 1862 at Pitcairn Island.1 She was the daughter of William Mayhew Young and Margaret Christian.1 She married unknown Christian at Norfolk Island.1 She married Albert Knight between 1881 and 1882 at Pitcairn Island.1 She died on 16 December 1943 at age 81 at Norfolk Island.1
     Maria Jane Young was Nurse.1 Traveled to Tonga on the mission ship 'Pitcairn' after it visited Pitcairn
Island in 1890. Maria served as the private nurse to Queen Salote of Tonga,
and as midwife at the birth of all the royal princes and princesses.1 Her married name became Knight.1 Her married name became Christian.1

     Albert Knight married Maria Jane Young, daughter of William Mayhew Young and Margaret Christian, between 1881 and 1882 at Pitcairn Island.1
     He arrived on Pitcairn in 1881, a victim of the shipwreck of the 'Acadia'.
He and his wife, Jane, were banished from the island for reasons unspecified.1

     Clive Edwards is the son of unknown Edwards.1
     Educated in Tonga and graduated from law school in New Zealand where he
practiced law, he returned to Tonga in 1974 and has been president of the
Tonga Law Society since 1993. At the time of his appointment, Edwards was
one of 61 candidates vying for 9 parliamentary seats in Tonga. On January
12, 1996, he was named Tonga's Minister of Police and Immigration.1 He was Lawyer & Politician.1
