     William Knox was born in 1813.1 He was the son of Reverend William Knox and Sarah Ferguson.2 He married, firstly, Gertrude Dabine, daughter of Thomas Dabine, in 1853.1 He married, secondly, Mary Isabella Frend, daughter of Benjamin Frend and Elizabeth Gough, on 11 July 1862.1 He died on 27 October 1867.1
     William Knox was with the Madras Civil Service.1

     Benjamin Frend was born at St John's, Limerick on 5 August 1778.3 He is the son of Benjamin Frend.2 He married Elizabeth Gough, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Gough, on 22 March 1810.3 He died in January 1858 at age 79,.3
