     Henry Joseph Burke was born on 11 July 1894.1 He was the son of Edward Plunkett Burke and Christina Mary D'Arcy.2,1 He died on 25 September 1915 at age 21 at France, killed in action.1
     Henry Joseph Burke was educated at Stoneyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 1st Battalion, Staffordshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1
