     Sir Hugh Hastings was the son of Sir Hugh Hastings and Margaret de Everingham.1 He married Anne le Despenser, daughter of Hugh le Despenser, 1st Lord le Despenser, before 1 November 1376.1 He died on 6 November 1386.1

     Sir John Hastings was born circa 1466.1 He was the son of Sir Hugh Hastings and Anne Gascoigne.1 He married, firstly, Isabel Babthorpe, daughter of Sir Ralph Babthorpe and Margaret Midelton, on 20 June 1484.1,2 He married, secondly, Katherine Aske, daughter of Sir John Aske and Elizabeth Bygod, in 1496.1,2 He died on 12 July 1504, without surviving issue.1 He was buried at Norton Priory, Yorkshire, England.2
     Sir John Hastings succeeded to the title of 11th Lord Hastings [E., 1295] on 7 June 1488, de jure.1

     John Hastings was born on 27 July 1531.1 He was the son of Sir Hugh Hastings and Katherine le Strange.1 He died on 8 January 1541/42 at age 10, unmarried.1
     John Hastings succeeded to the title of 15th Lord Hastings [E., 1295] on 29 December 1540, de jure.1 On his death, under modern doctrine his barony would have fallen into abeyance between his sisters.1
