     Catherine Frances Le Fanu was born on 7 June 1813.¹ She was the daughter of Very Rev. Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Emma Lucretia Dobbin.² She died on 25 March 1841 at age 27, unmarried.¹

     Henrietta Victorine Barrington was the daughter of Sir Matthew Barrington, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Hartigan.² She married William Richard Le Fanu, son of Very Rev. Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Emma Lucretia Dobbin, on 15 January 1857.¹ She died on 29 July 1899.¹
     From 15 January 1857, her married name became (?) Le Fanu.

     Thomas Philip Le Fanu was born on 9 December 1858.³ He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.² He married Florence Sophia Mabel Sullivan, daughter of Reverend James Sullivan, on 3 July 1890.³ He died on 21 October 1945 at age 86,.³
     Thomas Philip Le Fanu was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.³ He was with the Public Records Office, Ireland in 1881.³ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1881 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).³ He was with the Chief Secretary's Office in 1884.³ He was Private Secretary to the Chief Secretary between 1910 and 1913.³ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1913.³ He was Commissioner of Public Works between 1913 and 1926.³ He wrote the book Memoir of the Le Fanu Family.³ He was President of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland between 1933 and 1936.³ He lived at Abington, Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.³

     Reverend Fletcher Sheridan Le Fanu was born on 21 January 1860.¹ He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.² He married Jane Hore, daughter of Walter Hore, on 18 November 1885.¹ He died on 17 March 1939 at age 79, without issue.¹
     Reverend Fletcher Sheridan Le Fanu was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was the Rector at St. John's, Sandrmount, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     William Richard Le Fanu was born on 26 April 1861.¹ He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.² He died on 22 March 1925 at age 63, unmarried.³
     William Richard Le Fanu was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1883 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was admitted to Barrister-at-Law [Ireland] in 1884.¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1886.¹ He was joined the staff of Queen Anne's Bounty, later Chief Clerk and eventually Secretary and Treasurer to the Governors in 1890.¹

     Brinsley Rankine Le Fanu was born on 10 August 1862.¹ He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.² He married Margaret Dudgeon, daughter of John Dudgeon, on 15 April 1902.¹ He died on 5 February 1945 at age 82,.¹
