Catherine Frances Le Fanu was born on 7 June 1813.1 She was the daughter of Very Rev. Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Emma Lucretia Dobbin.2 She died on 25 March 1841 at age 27, unmarried.1

Henrietta Victorine Barrington was the daughter of Sir Matthew Barrington, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Hartigan.2 She married William Richard Le Fanu, son of Very Rev. Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Emma Lucretia Dobbin, on 15 January 1857.1 She died on 29 July 1899.1

Thomas Philip Le Fanu was born on 9 December 1858.3 He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.2 He married Florence Sophia Mabel Sullivan, daughter of Reverend James Sullivan, on 3 July 1890.3 He died on 21 October 1945 at age 86,.3
Thomas Philip Le Fanu was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.3 He was with the Public Records Office, Ireland in 1881.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1881 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).3 He was with the Chief Secretary's Office in 1884.3 He was Private Secretary to the Chief Secretary between 1910 and 1913.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1913.3 He was Commissioner of Public Works between 1913 and 1926.3 He wrote the book Memoir of the Le Fanu Family.3 He was President of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland between 1933 and 1936.3 He lived at Abington, Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.3

Reverend Fletcher Sheridan Le Fanu was born on 21 January 1860.1 He was the son of William Richard Le Fanu and Henrietta Victorine Barrington.2 He married Jane Hore, daughter of Walter Hore, on 18 November 1885.1 He died on 17 March 1939 at age 79, without issue.1
