     Richard Brinsley Sheridan Le Fanu was born on 2 May 1905.1 He was the son of Brinsley Rankine Le Fanu and Margaret Dudgeon.2 He married Dorothy Duncan, daughter of Robert Duncan, on 23 June 1931.1 He died on 14 November 1964 at age 59,.1
     Richard Brinsley Sheridan Le Fanu was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal College of Science, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was a parter of Le Fanu & Ekins, motor engineers at Donnybrook, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He lived at Killiney, County Dublin, Ireland.1
