     Georgina Wharton Burdon was the daughter of Major Augustus Edward Burdon.2 She married James Arthur Joicey, 2nd Baron Joicey, son of James Joicey, 1st Baron Joicey and Elizabeth Amy Robinson, on 10 September 1904.1 She died on 4 November 1952.1
      From 10 September 1904, her married name became Joicey. As a result of her marriage, Georgina Wharton Burdon was styled as Baroness Joicey on 21 November 1936.
