     Richard Anthony Bethell was the son of Captain William Adrian Vincent Bethell and Cicely Violet Cotterell. He married Lady Jane Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of Sir William Pleydell-Bouverie, 7th Earl of Radnor and Helena Olivia Adeane, on 27 September 1945. He died on 20 July 1996 at Manor House Farm, Long Riston, Yorkshire, East Riding, England.1
     Richard Anthony Bethell usually went by his middle name of Anthony.2 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Humberside between 1980 and 1983.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Humberside between 1983 and March 1996.4

     Sir Michael David Hogg, 8th Bt. was the son of Arthur Ramsey Hogg. He married Elizabeth Anne Thérèse Falkiner, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Terance Edmond Patrick Falkiner, 8th Bt. and Mildred Katherine Cotterell, on 21 January 1956.1 He died on 12 July 2001.1
