     Anne Sinclair is the daughter of Robert Sinclair of Durran.1 She married, firstly, James Sutherland of Langwell before 1709.1 A contract for the marriage of Anne Sinclair and John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock was signed on 25 July 1709.1
     From before 1709, her married name became Sutherland.1
