     Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. was born on 26 April 1715.1 He was the son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 4th Bt. and Mary Sutherland.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. and Margaret Sinclair was signed on 27 November 1735.3 He died on 4 October 1760 at age 45.1
     He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Sinclair, of Canisbay, co. Caithness [N.S., 1631] on 26 March 1732.1

     John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock was the son of George Sinclair, 1st of Barrock and Anne Dunbar.1 A contract for the marriage of John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock and Anne Sinclair was signed on 25 July 1709.1 He married Janet Dunbar, daughter of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar, on 1 January 1738.2 A contract for the marriage of John Sinclair, 2nd of Barrock and Janet Dunbar was signed on 31 December 1737.1 He died in 1743.1

     Sir John Sinclair of Mey, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 5th Bt. and Margaret Sinclair.2 He married Charlotte Sutherland, daughter of Eric Sutherland of Duffus and Elizabeth Dunbar.1 He died on 26 March 1774.1
     He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Sinclair, of Canisbay, co. Caithness [N.S., 1631] on 4 October 1760.1

     Caroline Charlotte Feichtegger was the daughter of Andreas Feichtegger and Maria (?).1 She married W/Cdr. John Francis Grey, son of Major George Henry Ivar Grey and Kathleen Selina Douglas Blake, on 20 January 1947 at Mariazell, Austria.1 She died in 1958.1
      From 20 January 1947, her married name became Grey.1

General Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine1

     General Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine was born in 1729.2 He was the son of John Campbell of Barcaldine and Margaret Campbell.2 He married Helen Sinclair, daughter of George Sinclair, on 1 August 1765.2 He died on 22 April 1779.2
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1745 in the service of the Argyllshire Militia.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1747 in the service of the an independent company in the East Indies.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1753 in the service of the 1st Royals.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1757 in the service of the Montgomery’s Highlanders.2

He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1761 in the service of the 95th Buffons.2 He was Deputy Governor of Fort St. George in 1774.3 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1777.2

     Jean Campbell was born circa 1769.2 She was the daughter of General Alexander Campbell of Barcaldine and Helen Sinclair.3,2 She married James Sinclair of Mey, 12th Earl of Caithness, son of Sir John Sinclair of Mey, 6th Bt. and Charlotte Sutherland, on 2 January 1784 at Thurso Castle, Thurso, Caithness, Scotland.2 She died on 2 April 1853 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was buried at Canongate, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2
      From 2 January 1784, her married name became Sinclair. As a result of her marriage, Jean Campbell was styled as Countess of Caithness on 8 April 1789.
