     George Sinclair, 1st of Barrock was born circa 1634.2 He was the son of Alexander Sinclair of Latheron and Jean Cunningham.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Murray, daughter of David Murray of Clairden.2 He married, firstly, Anne Dunbar, daughter of John Dunbar, 3rd of Hempriggs and Anne Fraser.2 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Cumming, daughter of Reverend William Cumming and Katharine Murray.2 He died in 1724.2

     Sir Patrick Dunbar of Northfield, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1676.3 He was the son of Sir Robert Dunbar of Northfield, 2nd Bt. and Mary Sinclair.2 He married, firstly, unknown Sinclair, daughter of William Sinclair of Dunbeath.3 He married, secondly, Catherine Brodie, daughter of Joseph Brodie of Mentoun and Elizabeth Dunbar, in 1722.3 He died on 5 April 1763, without surviving male issue.3
     Sir Patrick Dunbar of Northfield, 3rd Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caithness between 1727 and 1734.3 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Dunbar, of Northfield [N.S., 1700] in 1742.4 On his death, the baronetcy became dormant.4
