Sir John Rose George Sinclair, 7th Bt.1

     Sir John Rose George Sinclair, 7th Bt. was born on 10 August 1864.2 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Young Sinclair and Margaret Crichton Alston.1 He married Edith Dunbar, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Matthew Dunbar, on 7 January 1885.2 He died on 3 November 1926 at age 62, without issue.2
     He was Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.).2 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He was commander 62nd (Middx) Imp Yeomanry Boer War (despatches), WW I with King's (Liverpool) Regt, Honour Colonel and Lieutenant-Colonel cmdg Caithness Vol Artillery, Vice-Lieutenant of Hampshire of Caithness.2 He was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).2 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Sinclair, of Dunbeath on 21 April 1873. In 1886 so matric.2

     Agnes Learmonth is the daughter of John Learmonth.1 She married Captain George Sinclair, son of Sir John Sinclair, 6th Bt. and Margaret Learmonth, on 15 June 1859.2 She died on 17 March 1876.2
      Edinburgh.2 She lived Dean.2 From 1859, her married name became Sinclair.1
