     Captain Reginald Stannus Goff was born on 27 February 1882.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Trevor Goff and Henrietta Maude Saye.2 He married Vera Colville Gilchrist, daughter of William Oswald Gilchrist, on 22 August 1918.1 He died on 12 November 1965 at age 83, without issue.1
     Captain Reginald Stannus Goff fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy, with the destroyer flotillas.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.1

     From before 1918, her married name became Geddes.1 From 22 August 1918, her married name became Goff.
