     Strangman Davis-Goff was born on 27 May 1810.1 He was the son of Francis Davis and Rebecca Goff.2 He married Susan Maxwell Ussher, daughter of Arthur Ussher and Margaret Hewetson, on 25 February 1835.1 He died on 23 January 1883 at age 72.1
     Strangman Davis-Goff was baptised with the name of Strangman Goff.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wexford.1 On 7 April 1845 his name was legally changed to Strangman Davis-Goff by Royal Licence, under the terms his uncle's will.1 He lived at Horetown, County Wexford, Ireland.1
