     Sir Christopher Michael Edward Davson, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 May 1927.1 He is the son of Sir Edward Rae Davson, 1st Bt. and Margot Elinor Glyn.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Mary Wardrop, daughter of James Wardrop, on 2 June 1962.1 He and Evelyn Mary Wardrop were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Kate Foster, daughter of Ludovic Foster, in 1975.1
