     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1

     Vera Anne Loch Halliday was born on 29 July 1896 at Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Sir Frederick Loch Halliday.3 She married Sir Hugh Trevor Dawson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Arthur Trevor Dawson, 1st Bt. and Louise Grant, on 30 March 1918.1 She died on 23 December 1982 at age 86 at London, England.2
     From 30 March 1918, her married name became Dawson.

James Pryce Lloyd-Mostyn and Alix Doreen Inigo Richmund-Jones, on 30 May 1942.1 She and Major Edwin Inigo Lloyd-Mostyn were divorced in 1964.1 She died on 12 January 2000.1
     From 30 May 1942, her married name became Lloyd-Mostyn.

James Pryce Lloyd-Mostyn and Alix Doreen Inigo Richmund-Jones.2 He married, firstly, Avice Louise Trevor Dawson, daughter of Sir Hugh Trevor Dawson, 2nd Bt. and Vera Anne Loch Halliday, on 30 May 1942.1 He and Avice Louise Trevor Dawson were divorced in 1964.1 He married, secondly, Janet Hope Barnes, daughter of Eric Cecil Barnes, in 1964.2 He married, thirdly, Angela N. Leaf in 1975.2 He died on 25 May 1978 at age 57 at Taunton, Somerset, England.2,3
     He was educated at St. Edward's School, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.1 He fought in the Malayan Emergency, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He lived at Dissiford House, Bishop's Lydeard, Somerset, England.2
