     He was deputised for Earl of Surrey as Steward of Amounderness.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lancashire in 1540.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) in 1553.2 He was (an unknown value) in 1559.1 He had three other wives.2
