     Sir Robert Eden, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Eden, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lambton.1,2 He married Catherine Shafto, daughter of Mark Shafto, on 31 January 1715.1 He died on 2 May 1728.1
     Sir Robert Eden, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Eden. He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) County Durham in 1713.1

     Sir Robert Eden, 1st Bt. was the son of John Eden and Catherine Layton.2 He married Margaret Lambton.1 He died circa May 1720.1 He was buried on 17 May 1720.1
     Sir Robert Eden, 1st Bt. lived W Auckland.1 He was also known as Sir Robert Eden.1 On 13 November 1672 so created.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) County Durham in 1679.1

     As a result of her marriage, Clare Campbell Lucy Jekyll was styled as Baroness Henley of Chardstock on 30 June 1870. From 30 June 1870, her married name became Henley.1
