     Francis Oliphant was born on 7 June 1883.1 He was the son of General Laurence James Oliphant, 9th of Condie and Hon. Mary Monica Gerard.2 He married Elizabeth George, daughter of John George, on 13 August 1910.1 He died on 1 July 1939 at age 56.1
     Francis Oliphant was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Ralph Henry Hood Laurence Oliphant, 11th of Condie was born on 3 August 1915.1 He is the son of Captain Henry Gerard Laurence Oliphant, 10th of Condie and Ruth Barry.2 He married Barbara Mary Drake, daughter of Reverend Herbert Mackworth Drake, on 13 September 1941.1 He died on 25 May 1995 at age 79.1
     Lt.-Cdr. Ralph Henry Hood Laurence Oliphant, 11th of Condie was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was commissioned in 1935 with the rank of Pilot Officer, in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1938 in the service of the Royal Navy.3 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He was decorated with the award of Croix de Guerre.3 He retired from the military, with the rank of Lieutenant-Commander, late of the Royal Navy.3 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 22 May 1985.3
